Like the Boss do you all think ford will give the 350 forged internals? Just curious I have not seen anything about it anywhere and if it has already been discussed please dismiss this thread.

Good point. I'd be shocked if the GT350 doesn't have forged internals. My hope is that they have proper valve springs to handle the 8,200+ redline and above for those that want to rev it higher.Brandon302 said:Don't the new gt's have fully forged internals? I would think if they do the GT350 would also.

ArizonaBOSS said:The main reason that was eliminated in the BOSS was to keep oil pressure up for high RPMs, keeping a layer of lubrication at all times between the crank journals & rod bearings. Ford must have found a better way to do that in this engine, or maybe the crank journal loadings are different with the FPC such that oil pressure can be maintained at that RPM even with the additional oil outlets (squirters).

The exhaust manifolds, while in theory will bolt up to a Coyote, are different due to the different firing order with the FPC. So they won't work on our cars.VTBoss302 said:Some interesting details
Unique exhaust manifolds that appear to be coated and/or painted (and no catifold as in the GT)
