Your car will not get a VIN/scheduled build date until it gets close to your dealers build allocation week. If your dealer has a Q3 or Q4 allocation, it will not change until about a month or so before its build week. So far, I have seen nothing scheduled past the week of May 14th. And some of those have been pulled ahead.

From what I have read it looks like the stripe issue is resolved I hope they start shipping soon.

I'm a little confused. With the stripe issue cleared at this point, what's the difference between clean and material hold. I thought the latter was because of the stripe issue.

It has nothing to do with the stripe issue. It's all about scheduling.

Unscheduled-Material Hold - Unit can't schedule. Allocation week not near or something is not available.

Unscheduled -Clean - Unit isn't scheduled. No VIN, no scheduled build date. It will get a build date once allocation and commodities allow.

No change on your car. The car that was sold on April 7th was shipped from the factory on March 19th, and delivered to the dealer on March 27th.

Uhmmmm what? That's impossible. I bought it at March 30 and at that time they didn't have the car. It was supposed to arrive at April 5 but then they got an email from Ford that it had been held.

Does this mean my car is 'lost' now?!
