What trailer dooor extensions are those
Pit Pal - 72 inch - with 3 inch & 2 inch risers for extra support. Hinged & bolted to ramp and door for easy stowage. Secured during transport with threaded thumb screws (5/16”) into female thread inserts in door.

Now there’s an idea. Not only what we bring but how it got there. Rigs and trailers & the stuff they carry. Let me browse the site and see if there’s anything similar so we don’t duplicate.

For the first time in 23 years I don't have a trailer as my son got a ATS Enclosed one last year, so I sold mine. Dragoon, he did the same metal ramp extensions on his along with the exact plastic covered nut to hold said ramps to the ramp door. They are out of the way and he no longer needs his race ramps.............so cool. Now I need to show him your great idea for the door cables as I have about taking my head off a dozen times over the last decades of trailer use. So brilliant , I may just get him a couple sets as a little trailer present, ha!

Yes, a pool noodle & a razor blade to slice to the open center. I can’t take full credit as I saw them in the paddock during my son’s bike track days back around 2010. He has them still to this day for his trailer. It was the first “mod” for our ATC the day we brought it home. My paddock queen likes the bright colors and now they even make them in hi viz yellow.

As far as RaceRamps go, they’re nice and light but I wanted something more robust. PitPal are made in Illinois & their literature showed a picture of the set up I use and got the idea from them. We use their products through out our trailer. Nice thick aluminum & their fabrication is pro.

Our first track car, which the trailer was purchased for, was the NSX which is much lower than the stock mustang mach1, by a couple inches. Getting the angle of the dangle so the mass meets the ass was more than 3rd grade math to get the ramps set at the right height. Camco leveling pads under the real thick rubber door bumpers with the ramp risers gave us about 1/2” clearance.

Similar but cheaper. If out of stock get a raincheck.... I looked at them but would want to have a y connection just for rinsing. The cartridges are also pricey .

A deionizer rinse is the way to go for spotless finish no doubt. At present I use the 2 bucket wash/rinse with grit guards with a micro fiber fleece wash mitt. I have a 2 stage filter setup (charcoal and heavy mineral) with a dedicated black rubber hose & shower spray nozzle. As long as I keep pace as to not let any water beads dry, use the leaf blower to remove 98% of bead porn, wipe with the green cobra guzzler to dry finish, I can keep the water spots away. BUT, a deionizer system would be nice when I get around to washing the other cars & truck as much as I wash the mach.

If it was not so difficult to keep the NSX track compliant & replace it with our mach1, I would not be here on TMO. Our retired red track car still shows herself quite well though.

My buddy has 4 of them. After riding passenger seat in his Kenne Bell (black car) one, I then understood the difference car weight makes being that that car had about the same power as my mustang.
He let me drive the red one and it was one of the most exhilarating driving experiences I ever had.
