Still need to adjust the AIM Smartycam view angle to get a better view of track. Also there must be a config issue as the GPS location isn't showing up on the track map insert.....

Interesting, top speed at 147.2 is up 3 mph from my first visit last fall -- I'm sure the AIM shift lights are helping :)

Nice run. Stay in fourth gear until turn 4 then heel toe into third. Also, short shift into fourth after turn 15 so you can hit full speed coming out of Hogpen.

Check out Peter Kraus' write up. He has done as much data analysis as anyone out there.

Nitto NT01's…first time using them and I'm not a big fan. Made the car feel really loose…reminded me of the grip of the Toyo R888 but less stability I think due to the flexible sidewall. At first I thought there was something wrong with my suspension. Turns out they just have a very flexible tread and sidewall. They scream at you a lot all the time and I had some good 4 wheel drifts on other laps. I would say they are predictable but not consistent. I always had to do a cool down lap about half way through the session cause they lose their grip.

I got you thanks. I had the same problem when I tried the 555R2. They would lose grip after 4-5lap then take an easy on and they would be good again for another 4-5 lap.

As for your grip I would say try a smaller rear bar or no bar and see if it work better.

I finally made it back to MSR Cresson, but I didn't get to run the 3.1 :( Turned out to be okay as I got to run the 1.7 CW for the first time and it was a blast. Really enjoyed the challenges of blind turns. It put a whole new prospective on looking ahead. Best laps time wise are at the 6 minute mark.

I was back at NCM last weekend and managed a 2:21.7

The goal is to go under 2:20 on my new Pirelli PZero slicks…Those tires are sticky. We need to add NCM to the list of tracks.

What size are you running in the Contis? You are still on a staggered setup right? I just went to a square setup so that I can rotate tires. So far I like the square setup and the car feels pretty neutral.

Yes, Staggered. 305/285 Contis from the Hoosier Sale. I am contemplating 305 square, but right now I've got the car balanced, with just the very thin Watson sway bar at the rear -- that would likely need to come off with a square setup to avoid oversteer....

I was at NCM this weekend. There were a total of 8 bosses there...6 of us all came there together. It was a great weekend.

Managed a 2:18.1

This 5th gear shifting issue is getting really old. It shifts fine into all the other gears but 5th. I have to be very deliberate when trying to go into 5th. Still a good weekend though.

Not my fastest sessions but some good in car view with good sound. The mic is taped to the rear bumper to avoid all the wind noise. Skip past the warm-up laps for some fun with a Radical that was at the track.

New personal best at Watkins Glen. 2:15.60 on 4/26 with Trackmasters. Temp was 44 degrees and the track is bumpy as heck from the long winter. Was there with 06Mach1, 2012-Boss and cobrarob. Going back 5/18 with Chin Motorsports.

New Palmer motorsports track best lap time of 1:53.127. Track was great and will get quicker with less blowing dirt and curbing installed. If you went of the edge of the track you were in trouble. Not much if any run off area. But when driving it didn't bother you.
