"Cats in the cradle" is a song that just brings you to the reality from when your kids were growing up til where they are now....I did the best I could bringing up my Son...Bike rides, sled rides amusement parks, cook outs at state parks.........you name it!!!!...the bottom line is one day they will want to fly out on their own...It's a hard pill to swallow, but Me and you all know that day will come..........That's called life, BTW.................tell me about it..............................

Our 1-3 snow event is now 3-6 with rain and freezing rain mixed in.........maybe I shoulda picked up those leaves after all.............maybe and shoulda don't mean too much at this stage of the game...................................................

The snow is falling very lightly right now.........."They" say it will continue into tomorrow........That's OK......Me and the Boss got no plans............let it snow, let it snow , let it snow.........wait a minute!!!!!!!!!!!!......who's gonna shovel all this let it snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gotta order another cane soon.........my knee ain't gettin any better.......The golden yrs aint what I imagined..........Hon knows a Lovely Mom of her Friend....We went to her 90th birthday party in 2019 where She danced and enjoyed every minute........Now She's on her death bed at Greenwich Hospital........Time takes NO prisoners ......escape it's grasp while you can!!!!!!!!!!

I look forward to a week with my Boys.....it"ll be an adventure, for sure!!!!!!!!!!!..................Galaxy is a little older than Peanut...I don't know if that matters in Pit Bull terms.........But they know they are brothers and that's why they're family..............to me and Hon and Son!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About an inch, plus of snow so far..........now a rain mix over that.......temp 26......slippery to say the least.........schools are closed.......I'm SO glad I'm retired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

8 inches in East Tennessee yesterday and it just made it to 10 degrees today and we’re supposed to be in the south.

Oh and we don’t own snow blowers or shovels since this only happens every few years.

EF1, i feel your pain!!!!!!!!!!!!! Winter has brought a whole new meaning to you...........My winter feelings remain the same as in when where's spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...Those crocuses are laughing at me!!............such is life.................I think Hon says that all the time...............

The pain comes tomorrow morning. Forecast is for 1 degree and we aren’t talking celcius.

EF1, I have a cousin and family who moved to Tenn. yrs ago from Massachusetts to escape our winters.............I guess they didn't move far enough..........................

This is unusual for us. We typically get a couple of overnight dustings a year and it melts the next day. Yesterday we woke up to a dusting and it snowed all day and it is staying cold for several days so it isn’t melting.

EF1, Welcome to New England weather...........Misery loves company......we got an inch plus of snow overnite and now freezing rain...........slippery travel for sure!!!!!! stay safe and stay warm!!!!!!!!!!!!

Son leaving for PR tomorrow for a week of sunshine....My Boys (Galaxy and Peanut) will be here to keep me company soon..........is there a big smile/half smile emoji for this????????????
